One World Trade Center or short 1WTC topped out early in the morning, Friday, May 10th, 2013 in Lower Manhattan, New York. One of the most famous skyscrapers in the world reached its full height of 451m (1,776ft) when ironworkers installed last two sections of controversial spire. One WTC became the tallest building in New York City, tallest building in the United States putting Willis Tower in Chicago off the throne, and tallest building in Western Hemisphere.
